VFiles Made Fashion Takes Crowd-Sourcing to the Next Level for Fall 2015 – Style.com
Online sourcing has become a new method in the fashion industry for forward-looking brands like Marc by Marc Jacobs and DKNY that want to add a little extra buzz to ad campaigns. VFiles Made Fashion has always gone to the digital community to discover new design talent in a more democratic way. For Fall 2015, it will be taking that ethos even further. The entire show—designers, stylists, photographers, hairstylists, makeup artists, and models—will be cast via vfiles.com.
The winners will be chosen by the VFiles editorial team and a group of mentors, including Calvin Klein men’s creative director Italo Zucchelli, editor Candy Pratts Price, stylists Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele and Mel Ottenberg, and Style.com editor in chief Dirk Standen.
The submission process runs through December 8, and winners will be announced December 15. The show will take place during New York fashion week on February 11.
