Will Kathy Griffin Take Joan Rivers’s Place on "Fashion Police" After All? – Cosmopolitan.com (blog)

E! is looking for a new leader for Fashion Police, and whoever takes Joan Rivers’s place as arbiter of “who wore it best” will have some big (and fabulous) shoes to fill.

Kathy Griffin, whose brand of humor seems like a natural fit, might be the network’s top choice. “They did offer it to me,” Griffin told Access Hollywood. But she seemed unsure about whether she’ll say yes. “I don’t know if the situation is correct at this time for me or right for me at this time,” she said. (Perhaps she is testing the waters by releasing this information, then? Yes, perhaps.)

Even if it isn’t her, Griffin said she hopes the new host will uphold Rivers’s tradition of skewering the stars. She called the comedy icon an “ultimate feminist” who changed the comedy landscape for good. “She brought a fearlessness and a brand of humor into our homes that we really need.”
